We offer therapeutic osteopathy consultations with Dr Michelle Chan from Port Stephens Osteopathy. Dr Michelle Chan (BAppSci.Osteo, M.Osteo, GradCert.Paed, MPH) is a practicing Osteopath in Salamander Bay, Port Stephens. Michelle is an Australian registered Osteopath with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a member of the Osteopathy Australia (OA).

Dr Michelle Chan from Port Stephens Osteopathy
Michelle is the owner of Port Stephens Osteopathy, Salamander Bay, which was established in 2006. Since October 2016, she has been practicing at our multidisciplinary clinic, Wavelengths Allied Health. Before establishing in Salamander Bay, Michelle practiced in Orange and Dubbo in private practice for 2 years.
Michelle has experience with acute and chronic conditions such as, musculoskeletal strains, headaches, work and sports related injuries.
Michelle has recently completed her second Masters program, a Master of Public health with Distinction through the University of Newcastle. She was awarded recipient of a scholarship funded by the Services for Australian Rural and Remote Health (SARRAH) organisation. Michelle is currently undergoing the process for publishing a systematic review on biopsychosocial approaches in self management of low back pain through the University of Newcastle and Hunter Medical Research Institute.
Consultations run for 45 minutes. Michelle is a registered service provider with Medicare, NSW Department of Veterans’ Affairs and Private Health Funds. Please call our friendly reception staff to make an appointment with Michelle today.
