Lesley has over 30 years of experience in the field. Lesley has a deep understanding of the intricacies of mental health support in various contexts and has extensive experience in Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), Medicare, and workers’ compensation counselling.

Lesley has provided clinical assessments for recruitment purposes, as well as providing assessments in a unit for young individuals with early psychosis. Her expertise extends to substance abuse and domestic violence counselling and has worked in psychiatric inpatient settings.

With a compassionate and non-judgmental therapeutic style, Lesley employs person-centred approaches to her practice, tailoring her methods to meet each individual’s unique needs. Whether working with adolescents or adults, Lesley is adept at supporting individuals through the complexities of drug and alcohol issues, domestic violence, grief and loss, as well as anxiety, depression, prenatal depression, borderline personality disorder, stress and trauma.

Lesley is proficient in a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Narrative Therapy.

Lesley’s personal interests include reading books, going to the cinema and travelling.
