Esther is an AASW Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with a background in Psychology and 15 years of experience in the field.

She has a special interest in trauma and resilience among Indigenous and migrant communities, as well as common mental health concerns such as anxiety and depression. Her passion for the therapeutic field stems from witnessing the profound impact of trauma and barriers to mental health resources at individual, family, and community levels.

Esther integrates multiple therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Attachment-focused Psychotherapy, Relational Psychotherapy, and Mindfulness.

Her trauma-informed approach acknowledges the effects of complex, racial, ancestral, intergenerational, and multigenerational trauma, particularly within First Nations and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities.
