Claire is an experienced psychologist and educator with over 35 years’ experience across teaching, social work, welfare, human services, and mental health.

Claire specialises in the assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based intervention of neurodevelopmental conditions, including ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), learning disorders, and Intellectual Disability, across the lifespan, with expertise in early childhood and adult presentations of ADHD and ASD. Claire also has interest in working with providing support for mothers, perinatal health issues, particularly during pregnancy and early parenthood.

Claire’s practice is grounded in trauma-informed Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), alongside Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Claire is trained in multidisciplinary approaches to eating disorders (ANZAED and Butterfly Foundation member) and in the treatment of Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) using neuroplasticity principles.

Claire provides telehealth services and works collaboratively across disciplines, emphasising neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based, and early intervention approaches. In addition to offering one-on-one therapy, Claire also facilitates group sessions utilising CBT and DBT modalities.

Claire is a board approved supervisor and has supervised interim psychologists and counsellors.
